Facebook now enables you to do that @mention thing, a function that is part and parcel of Twitter. To get a better idea, just hit ‘@’ whenever you write a new wall post to get.
And if you find yourself struggling to use Facebook, perhaps you might consider to use Facebook Lite. This is now a permanent fixture on my browser – even on Chrome because of the laggy SMU WLAN-Student network. Goto http://lite.facebook.com if you want a speedier Facebook!
